Installing a cloud ceiling light is not very different from installing any other type of luminaire. But before you buy one, it’s important to know the electrical requirements for installation and the type of lighting best suited to the room.
The first thing you need to know about the installation process is that a cloud ceiling light requires a dedicated circuit breaker or fuse. Make sure it’s installed in a well-cleared area. Your installation should therefore be placed in the center of the ceiling. And the most important thing of all is to remember to switch off the power supply before carrying out any work.
The right size and type of cloud ceiling light for your space
In fact, it’s not enough just to pick up a cloud-type ceiling light at random and install it. If you’ve decided to install a cloud ceiling light, it’s precisely to be more decorative. In this case, the choice of size and type will be of great importance.

- a wire stripper.

The technique used to install a cloud ceiling light
Installing a cloud ceiling light won’t be difficult for you if you’re used to this type of work. Put on your gloves and proceed step by step. If it’s a new build, the electrical conduit will still be blank and you’ll have to do a complete electrical installation. To do this, first connect the three connection points with an electrical wire. The first, from the source to the circuit-breaker.
